Privacy policy

Short version: this website doesn’t track you, doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t collect personal details.

Who we are

This website, drunken-sailor.co.uk, is run by Drunken Sailor. You can contact us about privacy at hello@drunken-sailor.co.uk.

No cookies, no analytics, no trackers

This website does not set cookies, and it does not use analytics services, advertising trackers, social media widgets or any other third-party scripts. Everything your browser loads (pages, images, fonts, styles) comes from our own server.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our web server automatically keeps standard logs of requests: the address (IP) of the device making the request, the date and time, the page requested, the browser’s user-agent string and the referring page. These logs are used to keep the site running, secure and free of abuse, and are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.

Link clicks

When you follow a link from this site to our shop or another website, it passes through a short redirect (a web address starting /go/). We record the date and time, the name of the link and the page on our site it was clicked from, so we can see which designs people are interested in. We don’t record your IP address or anything else that identifies you in this count.

Email

If you email us, we’ll use your email address and message only to reply to you and deal with your query. We won’t add you to a mailing list or share your details with anyone else unless we need to in order to help you (for example, passing order details to our print partner to fix a problem).

Buying from our shop

This website doesn’t take orders or payments. When our shop is live, the Buy buttons will take you to it; the shop, its payment provider and our print partner, Printful, will process the details needed to take payment and deliver your order. The shop will have its own privacy policy explaining this.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have rights over your personal data, including the right to ask what we hold about you and to ask us to correct or delete it. Email us and we’ll help.
