How print-on-demand orders work, and what to do if something isn’t right.
Our shop isn’t open yet. This page explains how orders will work. When the shop opens, its delivery and returns policies will be linked from here and shown at checkout.
How your order is made
Everything we sell is printed on demand. Nothing is sitting on a shelf waiting for you: when you place an order, our print partner, Printful, prints your chosen design onto your chosen product, checks it, packs it and posts it to you.
Because each item is made after you order it, the time it takes to reach you is made up of two parts: the time to print it (production) and the time the post takes (shipping).
Delivery times and costs
We won’t guess here, because delivery options, costs and estimated times depend on the product, where it’s going and the service you choose. They will be shown clearly in the shop before you pay, and in its delivery policy.
If you order several different products, they may be printed separately and arrive in more than one parcel.
If something is wrong with your order
If your item arrives damaged, misprinted or isn’t what you ordered, email us at hello@drunken-sailor.co.uk with your order number and a photo of the problem, and we’ll sort it out with you.
Returns and changing your mind
Our full returns policy will be published in the shop when it opens. Whatever it says, it won’t take away your legal rights as a consumer. For independent guidance on those rights, see Citizens Advice: consumer rights.
Sizes and colours
Size guides and the exact colours available for each product will be on its page in the shop. The colour swatches on this website are approximate, because every screen shows colour a little differently.
